La Biodola

The Gulf of Biodola is one of the most charming and spectacular places of the Island of Elba. Situated 10 km away from Portoferraio, the bay is reached from the Procchio to Marciana road, in a north west direction.

On the 600 meters of fine, white beach of La Biodola there are two villages called Scaglieri and Forno with their own little beaches, moreover there are the most well-known hotels, offering many services.

For those who love sport many activities are available: sailing and windsurf school, diving centre, tennis, golf (6 holes) and boats to rent. The beach connects La Biodola to Scaglieri and the little borgo di Forno, within easy walking distance.
